So I saw that movie "Brothers"...tonight...just about an hour ago I was still in the theatre. Oh boy...Jake can do no wrong... I love him... can he marry me? I mean c'mon I'll sign a pre-nup and convert to Judaism and something tells me that me and his sister Maggie will get along famously...plus she has a daughter "Ramona", Olivia needs a girl cousin. Not to mention the fact that I LOVED the "Ramona" books growing up. And I also like her husband Peter Sarsgaard. Sorry Mitch...I want Jake to be my "Baby Daddy". He has been dating Reese Witherspoon, although they are rumored to be broken up (hooray for me), so he obviously doesn't mind someone already having kids...and I only have one, ole's Reece has go two and is divorced...Hello never been married over here! Oh it used to be a toss up between Joaquin Phoenix and Jake...but who the hell knows what's going on with Joaquin these days and now that Reece is supposedly single who wouldn't love those two getting together all "Walk the Line" style.

Oh poor Spiderman never had a chance to win my sympathies in this movie... Jake I only have eyes for you. Oh and that tension between Natalie and Jake....oh if it just could've happened for them...but alas it never did and it was rated "R" for some other reason...language...oh violence for sure. Oh but really if you happened to read my blog...Jake...I love you here is why....

Winnie

The Pooh of course, are there really any other Winnies out there? So this particular "Winnie" has been working overtime in Olivia's room!

What's that you say? Well guess...give up? It's a Winnie the Pooh Humidifier. This is a pic I found on the Internet, I'll have to take a picture of this guy in action and post it some other time. The steam comes out of his ears...kinda weird, like he's mad or something. Anyways this has been blowing non-stop the last 2 days...baby Liv and I are sick! It's horrible! I mean bad, especially me...she seems to be coming out of it...I feel like I am neck-deep in it!

She got sick first. Waking up 2 nights ago coughing like crazy! At first I thought she was faking it. She does that for attention sometimes but she wouldn't stop. After about 10 minutes I went over and picked her up and she was burning up! Fever! I gave her some Tylenol and she went back to sleep and by morning that hoarsy cough had turned into the mucus rattling variety. Great!!!! She just wanted to be held all day. She layed on me and coughed on me and snotted on me and sneezed on me all day. Very whiny, very loopy and very unlike her usual self. The cuddling thing should have been my first clue, she NEVER wants to cuddle unless she is really tired....or apparently sick. Then last night I started to feel a little muddled in the head and sinuses and this morning I wake up and guess who else is sick, guess who else has a fever! Urghhhh I feel like I could die! I feel so sick! Besides migraines I really don't get sick that often....despite what former employers might think te he he! SHHHHHHH! Urghhh and Mitch is out of town for work and The Nutcracker is in full swing so mom can't help me....taking care of a sick baby when you are just as sick....oh it's like cruel and unusual punishment!

So....here is an aspect of motherhood I could do without! Not fun and not fair!!!!!

Mitch will be home tomorrow and I have told him he is going to physically take Olivia away to his parents house and HE is going to have her until I feel better or he has to go back to work on Monday. He is by the way the person who got her sick and me sick, he was sick all last week! But then....I am her mama and I feel like I should be the one to help her and comfort her when she is sick! I feel like Mitchell might not do what I would do or his Mom or sisters when helping him with her might do certain things differently and it just makes me leery of the whole thing! I feel like she is very used to the way I do things, the schedule of events we have....I feel like a change in her routine might make her feel even worse since babies do like to know what to expect through their daily routines. Aghhhhhh but then I think about the way she was screaming at me every-time I had to leave her for even a few seconds to get a diaper or make a bottle...and how frustrated I got "I'm just as sick as you, please stop, please just chill out"....then it feels like sleeping without interruptions will be like Heaven on earth! My body is just so achey and feels so weak I feel like I might break when I pick her up! That or I might drop her!

I don't know...we have got to get well soon...this illness is making life hell!

So I have 5 nephews...that was weird I almost put 4 and then remembered that little Liam is here now too! Anyways so my brother has 4 boys and my sister has one. But this post is about the Eric Larsen nephews. The two oldest boys Rob and Kam are involved in wrestling up in Idaho where they live. I have, while visiting, attended a few of their meets? bouts? matches?...I think it's matches. Anyways they are a bit tough to to watch for some reason. It seems very competitive and some of the boys get really upset and cry when they lose...also watching kids slam each other around seems a bit unnerving. Yeah I cried when I went. Not because anyone was hurt or my nephews lost or cried...mainly the other parents and kids. The parents screaming at the kids and then the kids losing and looking so heartbroken and upset that they let their parents down. SAD!!!!! Anyways my brother and sister in law don't scream at them and they don't seem to have any negative associations with it, they love it! Anyways I just wanted to post a couple of pictures of the two state champions....that's right

Robert Wayne Larsen and Kamren Boyd Larsen are #1 in the state of Idaho!!! Congratulations my cute nephews....Ahem I mean cool, tough, champion nephews!!!!

And they are Number 1 in the great state of Idaho!

Can't wait to see you at Christmas time boys!!!!! We are going go paint and I will even play Queen's "We are the Champions" as you come through the door!

Oh boy...this girl! She must be teething or starting her period about 13 years early or something. She has been so sassy and bi-polar today, well last 2 days actually! Screaming, crying, fit throwing, foot stamping, head rolling, hair pulling! OMG!!!!! She is driving me insane. I know I have said this before but really the last couple of days I have had to give her a "time-out" in her room just so I can breathe and not want to kill her! She is screaming away right now...fighting off the having to go to bed for the night. She will be perfectly fine and happy, smiling laughing and then the smallest thing sets her off and forget it, she's pissed and it's all downhill from there.

But she is super-cute! So full of personality already! She thinks she's so clever and smart when she figures out how to do something new or holds up her "play phone" and acts like she's talking on the phone. She is very fun...when she's not having some sort of temper tantrum...

Happy Thanksgiving

So Mitch, Olivia and I headed down to Danville to have Thanksgiving with Mitchell's mom's side of the family. Thanksgiving took place at Olivia's Great Aunt Michelle and Uncle Dennis' house. It was pretty low-key and fun. Olivia was, of course, quite the main attraction. Here are some pictures of the day and who was there.

Here is a picture of Mitch driving the super awesome Volkswagen Vanagon. We drove this down and since we had so much extra room we were able to bring Olivia's high chair and porta-crib. He also kept commenting about how everyone was staring at the van, because it's so cool...I thought they might have been staring for less spectacular reasons...LOL! Nah the van is pretty fun and cool I must admit!

There's Olivia in the way back and thankfully slept most of the ride down!
